Great Northern Wedding Show 2016

Hello Everyone,

For those who don't follow me on social media, I would like to let you know that I have gotten engaged since I last posted on here. Also hit that follow button for instagram haha, I post almost everyday.

Anyway I have been having a lot of wedding fun, looking at dresses, find ''The Dress". Looking at venues, finding the venue, bridesmaids dresses and so on and so on.

One of the things I have wanted to do is go to a wedding fair, to look at the few things we still weren't sure of, like photographer, suits and a couple of other things. So Paul found the Great Northern Wedding Show at the USN arena in Bolton. I made sure I booked the day off and we went.

The event is organised by a company called Little White books (I will link all websites and social media below). A huge positive for this event is if your pre booked it was free entry, even if you just turned up on the day it was only £2 per person to get in, so BARGAIN!!!!

Another big draw for me, because lets face it free stuff is amazing, the first 500 brides to turn up on the day would get a free goodie bag. So as you can imagine I made Paul wake up early to make sure we got there with plenty of time to spare so I could get myself some freebies.

With over 120 stalls with suppliers of suits, wedding dresses, cake bakers, photographers and table dresses (to name but a few) it is the perfect place for any bride and groom to go and get a good deal and some ideas.

We got there for about 10.40 and oh ye I got a goodie bag haha! Inside was sweeties (always good) a biscuit, a "Top Five Breakfasts Tips'' for the big day which included a nice peppermint tea bag, a sample of TRESemme Beautiful Full Volume pre wash conditioner and shampoo, a little pack of natural petal confetti, a wedding day SOS kit with a couple ear buds and a cotton pad (which I think is such a good idea, I never even thought about having an SOS kit). Finally it came with a show guide, a copy of Little White Books magazine and M&S cake book. It was all topped off with this lovely ''I'm a Great Northern Bride'' bag, and considering how much stuff we left with it is a lot stronger then it looks.

There were another two items in the bag but I have chosen not to include them, there were a protein shake and a meal replacement bar. As a plus size bride who has no intention of loosing weight, I thought this was not really needed. I understand that some women will want to loose weight before their wedding but I am not one of them.

So we went inside and wow just wow.

As a little side note I would just like to say I have only chosen to cover a small amount of companies there. They are the ones that I looked at the most and so that is why I chose to take pictures and do this post so I can show you what I like.

Our first stop was a beautiful stand that makes fairy centre pieces, they are a company called Enchanted Wedding and they are honestly so lovely and so nice. We even asked them about our wedding (since we have our theme) and they said that they can do a custom piece for us if we get in touch with them. Since we are getting married in 2018 she said that she would have plenty of time to think about what we would want.

As you can see they make little fairy scenes inside large wine glasses as centre pieces. This one is one of the smaller glasses. You cant see it properly but there is also little signs inside saying the bride and grooms names. They look so personal and since each one is made for each bride and groom it is such a personal touch for your wedding. The other picture shows the buckets you can have as a table planner, which I think is so original and such a fun thing for your guests to look at to find their table places.

Like I said before Sarah the lady that makes them is so lovely and so creative, and I think these are such a creative individual item to have for your wedding.

The next stall we went to I got so excited about, it is something I have never thought of but I saw it got excited ran over and asked to take a picture. Its a company called Polka Pops which is ran by a lovely lady called Amy and they are CAKE POPS!!!!

These are AMAZING and they taste so good too (there were samples and yes I had to try them research purposes only of course haha). Not only are they brilliant but they are also award winning so well done Amy. I think these are such a cute idea for wedding favours for your guests. There were even head shaped ones so if you wanted to you can even get each guests head made and they could be part of the table seating plan. The biggest cake pop stand there was this Alice in Wonderland one, each cake pop is so individual, you can really see the time and effort Amy puts in to making them. So cute!!

Another company I spoke to is called Brides Little Helper and honestly they really are. I have made my own save the dates and am in the process of writing and getting them sent out, but this company is such a brilliant idea to get it all done in the same place and have the same designs for everything.

Brides Little Helper is a stationary and venue dresser, so not only can you get your save the dates and invites from them you can also have these very cool light up signs. On the stall they had the light up Mr and Mrs sign. I do like them but they're just not for me, but only because of a really weird reason.
I spent time in front of these signs taking pictures and talking to Paul and it get so hot next to them. We are getting married in July and it is hot enough at the time of the year without adding to it. Yes such a weird reason I know.

What I was interested in is their stationary. As I said before I already have our save the dates but they were showing things I hadn't even thought of, like a table planner that matched the invites design, its little touches like this that really tie a wedding in all together. So having a company that can do it all for you and put together a package for you is brilliant and something I will be looking into. Also a big well done to them too for winning two awards in the last two years :) well done guys.

While walking around the event you do get asked if you would like to enter competition, one of them I want to show you is this company, for all of you floral loving brides and grooms out there this is gorgeous.

The company is called Petals in Love and they specialise in Bespoke Flower letters and walls, as you can see from my picture. They are just gorgeous, the lights inside and the pinks and whites are so pretty. Not only will it be so nice in the day time but you will also have those lights for the night time too. How sweet would it be taking selfies with this behind you. Think of the striking a pose in front of the wall of flowers with all your bridesmaids. They are just so pretty and I couldn't not include them because they are just so pretty.

Lastly was the fashion show. I already have my dress (yes I plan ahead, I'm not getting married for another 2 years but its good to be organised, plus my dress is gorgeous and I love it) but that doesn't stop me from looking. These are a few dresses from Edith & Winston Bridalwear and Bridalwear by Emma Louise modelled by Nicola Lily and unfortunately I wasn't sure of the other models name, but both of you were fabulous.

(If anyone knows where I can find a head dressing like this I will be your best friend forever)

All of these dresses are just gorgeous and my camera has not done them justice. The detailing in them from the beading to the lace is just amazing. The reason I chose theses two models as appose to the rest of the brilliant models is I am plus size and although these girls are a lot taller them me, they still represent what these dresses would look like on my body, which is why I chose to cover just there two companies who do plus size bridal wear. They wont make me look bigger them I am, they are cut so nicely and sit so well on the body that anyone is just going to look gorgeous in them. So well done to both companies and thank you for showing off these dresses.

Not forgetting the boys out there, I got a couple of pictures of the grooms and page boy suits. These are action shots because they all did the YMCA on the stage which I couldn't stop laughing at, and the two page boys were adorable. Such little cheeky chaps.

This was my first ever Wedding Show and I loved every minute of it, I have never said my wedding date or written my emails out as much as I did yesterday and at one point talking to a photographer I totally said I was getting married in 2014 apparently, because I had said it so many times I got so mixed up, but I loved it. It was such a fun day out and was so good talking to different people about things I hadn't even thought about. So thank you so much to Little White Book, for organising the event and thank you to all of the companies (and not just the few I have named here) for attending. You made this bride to be feel very special indeed.

I hope I have given you all a few things to think about for your own wedding, I know it has for me.

My Current Relationship 30 Day Blog Challenge

Hi Guys

Hope you're all ok.

As you can tell today is all about my relationship. As a lot of you know I have a boyfriend and his name is Paul. We have been together for almost 2 years.

Honestly I don't have a clue what else to say about my relationship, so I suppose I'll give you a brief history of it (haha I sound like I'm writing an essay).

So like I said me and Paul have been together for nearly 2 years, we met through a mutual friend and just got talking. Before meeting Paul I classed myself as gay, all my previous proper relationships had been with women, but when I met him something happened and it just felt right. I hadn't met anyone like him, and he just made me feel safe (he still does).

Oh god I'm sorry I know this is a proper mushy blog post.

In the beginning we had to over come the distance between us. I was living in Birmingham with my mom and dad and Paul lived in Warrington. We went back and forth on the train and it was so hard let me tell you. I hated leaving him and going back to Birmingham, it always made me feel so sick.

I first met Pauls parents at their home, he took me over and we had a nice meal and we stayed the night, the next day we went for a huge walk and it was so nice getting to know them and seeing Paul with his family.  Paul first met my parents when I had to go to a hospital appointment. I had to go and have a biopsy and Paul came down to be with me, he met my mom and then later in the night him met my dad and got to see how crazy we were together.

I am so at ease with his family and they honestly make me feel like I have always been there and that I am already apart of them. I just hope Paul feels the same with my family.

Last June we finally moved in together into our home and I love it, we have really made it our own and I love our life here.

This March we welcomed our four legged fury baby into our family and things really have never been the same.

April was our first ever holiday together, my mom and dad paid for us to go with them to Cornwall, and since we had Paul's moms car we were able to get out and about a lot easier, it was so much fun and we both loved it.

I am so ready to get married and have a family and I know Paul is too so watch this space and see what happens.

Anyway thats enough mushy stuff haha

See you soon

Hi Guys

Hope you're all ok

So today is all about my likes and dislikes. I think my likes are going to be easier but we will see how I go. Have fun reading.

1. I love Cheese
2. Lazy Sundays with coffee and breakfast is bed with Paul is the best way to spend my time.
3. I like to paint my nails.
4. I have a bit of an obsession with taking selfies and if anyone ever went through my pics, selfies of me and pictures of coco are really the only thing you will find.
5. I could probably live off chicken with the amount I eat, I can't help it, I just love it.
6. I love animals, I have coco my dog, smudge my hamster and mortimer and mildred my giant african land snails.

8. I love the idea of being a proper 50s housewife, and I love the 50s style.
9. Karaoke is like the best thing ever.
10. I love trips to ikea. Meatballs, swedish words and cool things what is there not to love.

So here we go with dislikes.

1. I don't like people with push on trains when they can see that there is no more room.

3. I am not good with technology, thankfully Paul is good with it so I just yell him and he sorts it out haha.

10 Years time 30 Day Blog Challenge

Hi Guys

Hope you're all ok.

So continuing on with my Blog challenge I would like to go a bit into the future and see what I would love to be doing and where I would like to be in 10 years time.

I would like to be working from home, maybe blogging full time or making youtube videos (which I know doesn't happen over night but I love it and would love it to happen). I love the idea of being a stay at home mom but I know I would get bored so I would need something to do and something that I am passionate about.

So the second thing as you guessed from before is I would love to have at least one child. Me and Paul have spoken about kids and we both want them and I am hoping that give it 10 years I will be 38 and I will have had at least one child.

Specking of me and Paul, I would like it if we were married. Like most little girls I have had my wedding planned out in my head since I was about 7 but since growing up the details have changed (plus I suppose Paul needs to have a say in it too haha). I suppose at the end of the day as long as me and Paul say 'I do' that is all that matters.

Something I have been thinking about recently is that I would love to be able to do a few things that I cant now, so for example I have had my provisional drivers licence for 6 years, and I am yet to get behind the wheel of a car. So it would be good to be able to drive too. Another thing I can't do is swim. When I was younger I was always having operations and so I was always in a plaster cast, so I would never really get a good grip on the whole swimming thing. So that would be pretty cool if I could know at least the basics.

Last but not least I would love to have been on a plane. I have been out of the country a couple of times but never on a plane and at the moment I don't even have a passport. So first things first is passport and then a small plane ride to somewhere so I can see how I get on.

I think the best thing I could do is make a 10 year bucket list and tick it off as I do each thing, do you guys want to be updated on my bucket list progress???

8. I have become obsessed with OITNB and I am so sad I have to wait another year for the next one.

The Power of Make Up

Hi Guys

Hope you're all ok

I have been having a little break from my blog but I'm back and here to stay.

This post is based on a youtube video I recently watched by Becca Rose. She is one of my favourite youtubers and I am a bit obsessed with her channel. A few weeks ago she filmed a video about the power of make up, she had gotten the idea from another youtuber (Nikki Tutorials). (To watch their videos please click the links below)

                                                                         Nikki Tutorial

The video is all about how women are seen by some men as being fake when they wear make up. There has been a number of memes and pictures flying around social media like this :

Which is aimed at other men, telling them to take girls out on a first date to a swimming baths so they can see their true faces.

There has even been a story in the media (although I am not sure how reliable it is) that a man was sueing his wife for mental damages after seeing her with no make up on the day after they got married

I don't wear make up everyday, sometimes if I am in a rush I wont wear it, or sometimes when I am too tired or just cant be bothered to put it on I wont, so for me make up is not something I use to cover myself up. I did not use make up to make my boyfriend fall in love with me, I do not use it as a mask. I wear make up (and this may seem crazy) BECAUSE I LIKE IT.

I would also like to believe that some men out there are not stupid enough to think that my eye lids are natually glittery or that my lips can change colour.

So with Becca and Nikki inspiring me I thought oooo I want to do that, one because I want to send the message that girls wear make up because we want to and not to trick men and two because it will be fun haha.

So this is my 'The Power of Make up' in pictures.

                                      (This side of my face)

So this is my total fresh skin, all I have on is my moisturiser which is No7 Early Defence Day Cream from Boots, my primer, which is Make Up Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer from Superdrug and my eye primer which is a sample of Benefits Air Patrol you can pick it up from Boots.

I then use No7 Stay Perfect foundation in the colour Cool Vanilla, from Boots. I apply it with my Lottie London Foundation Brush, from Superdrug.

Next is my concealer, which is my holy grail of concealers, its the Collection concealer in the shade fair. I always tend to find that it sells out really quickly so I buy it in bulk so I never run out, I get it from Superdrug. I used my beauty blender from primark to apply it, first I spray it with my MUA fixing spray and then dab it on to my face.

(Yay no more dark undereye) I then use my Rimmel Stay matte powder, which I apply with my Lottie London fluffy brush, I find that No7 leaves my skin shiney and I need this to just finish off my look into a more matte consistency and also stop it looking all shiney. It also keeps my make up in place.

BROWS BROWS BROWS!!!!!! I use Barry M'S Brow Kit Shape and Define from Superdrug, I find that in the kit all I use is the powder, one because its quick and two because honestly I don't really know what to do with the wax thingy haha. Sadly I am running low on this so I will be looking for an alternative soon.

On  my eye lid I use the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette from Superdrug (oh god cant you tell I shop there a LOT) I apply it with Lottie brushes.

For Eyeliner I use the Collection Extreme Felt Liner from Superdrug. I find this so easy to use because the tip is so fine and just so easy to draw with. I also use the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara, I got this in a set at Christmas but I am pretty sure you can still get it in Boots.

On to my favourite, BLUSH, which is Collection in the shade Trouble, the reason I like blush so much is cause sometimes when I really want to put make up on but I am in a rush I put on my stay matte and a bit of blush and it makes me feel all glowy.

FINALLY I use Collections Lip Butter in Vintage Rose, I have had this for a while and always break it out in summer because of how nice the shade is.

And there you have it, my finished half and half Power of make up, showing you what the power of make up is. To me it covers up my dark circles, it gives me colour in the places I like and because it makes me happy.

What do you guys think? Anyone want to do this?? How about showing me your half and halfs on instagram, use the hashtag thepowerofmakeupchallenge

Boots No 7 Moisturiser Review

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok

It has been AGES since I have done a product review and so I thought ooo I have been using my No 7 day cream for a while so I would let all you guys in on what its been doing for me.

So here we go ...

For all of you who have followed my blog from the beginning you know I am a bit of a brand follower. I will find a brand and if I love it I will buy everything, but and here is the shocker, I am a trying to get out of this routine.

The moisturiser I have always used has been my Nivea Daily essentials day cream for normal/combination skin. It really had been part of my routine since finding the brand when I was 18, oh gosh nearly 10 years.

I decided I needed a change when the skin on my t zone started to become very flaky even after moisturising. So when I went into boots one day to top up on my foundation I found a new one.

I spoke to the girl at the No 7 counter in Boots and told her about the problem I had been having, I originally thought it had been the change of foundation from L'oreal to No 7, but she asked about my skin routine and when I told her what I did she said maybe change my moisturiser and see how my skin went and to tell you the truth I am so glad I did.

The one she recommended is the No 7 Early Defence Day Cream, as well as moisturising the skin it also has SPF 15 and helps to protect against UV as well as help the skin look younger for longer. At first I thought ok she is trying to get a sale out of me, but I thought what can I loose, if it doesn't work I can change it and go for something else.

If you want to check this out you can see it here for no 7 products.

The first couple of days I couldn't really see a difference but after the first week my skin was no longer flaking. I also find it is easy to pop on when I have those days when I don't really want to wear make up.

It feels very nice on the skin and even though the pot is small it has lasted for AGES, I bought it in the beginning of November and it has only just got a quarter of the way through.

For me this is my little miracle cream because of how nice my skin feels and I do love it.

What do you guys think? Have you tried this? Do you recommend any other No 7 products?

I will keep you all updated with how my skin carries on.

Current Skin Care Routine

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok

Here we are 3rd week into mine and Nat's combo posts and I cant believe we only have 1 more left after this, I have come to love our combo. Gonna miss it.

This week is all about skin care, what we use and how it helps us.

As anyone who has read my blog for a while knows I am a very big brander, as in when I find something I love I will follow that brand to the ends of the earth, but this year I am trying to break with tradition and venture out to a bold new world of brand new products.

This blog is a perfect example of how my skin care has slightly changed over the last year. I think I did a blog similar to this a few months back and that was all based on Nivea. Although there is a couple of Nivea products in here, this blog will show how much I am branching out and using others too :D
The first thing I would like to talk about is my make up remover, and surprise surprise its Nivea hehe, it is the Nivea Double Effect eye make up remover and I hand on my heart will buy this forever.

I had seen this in superdrug and I thought, well I need something good to take my eye make up off because I am waking up with panda eyes everyday. I do not regret that decision since it is totally amazing and I give it a HUGE 10/10. I put it on cotton wool, hold it on my eyes for a few seconds,  wipe away and poof its all gone. Trust me try it :)

To get my main make up off I use my Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4 in 1 Deep Cleansing Milk It smells so good, like peaches with a hint of mint hehe.

I use 2 pumps in my hand and just use it like a soap and it takes all of my make up off. I haven't used this before but Paul got it for me for Christmas in my soap and glory set. I know it will last a while but since it is such a simple way to get my make up off then I will be getting this again.

Next is my exfoliator, which I use twice a week or when ever my skin feels like it needs a little extra, I use the Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub (yep another Nivea) I have used this since I was 19 and I don't think I will ever change it.

After taking my make up off, I wet my face, and rub in the exfoliator, I tend to concentrate around my T zone and chin, because that is where  I get a lot of break outs. Sometimes if I feel my skin is a little cloggy then I will leave it on my face a little longer just to make it feel fresher. Then I wash it straight off.

And there you have it that is what I use on my skin. I find for my skin type, which is combination, it works and works well, so I will continue to use this.

I do use a moisturiser but I love it so much that I have made a whole blog post just about it which will be coming soon.

Current Hair Favs

Hi Guys

Hope your ok.

So here we are in our second week of mine and Nat's combo post, this week is all about our crowning glory, Our Hair.

I have always had problems with my hair because some shampoos I have used have irritated my scalp. I have found that some will make me really itch, so it has taken a while for me to find the right product.

Lately I have been using Argan Oil on my hair, I am using the shampoo, conditioner, mask and treatment so I am going to be showing you how I use it and how it has helped my hair.

So firstly the Shampoo.

I have wanted to try this range for a while because I have heard so much about it, I bought all of these items in Home bargain's where they were about £1.50 each, which I think I defiantly affordable. This shampoo is a lot different to any I have used before, it is more runny and it takes a bit longer to develop in your hair. With this what I am finding I do is apply it to wet hair then leave it in for a while, rinse off and then I do it again, I think the reason I do it again is just because I don't feel like it has done the job properly, it is probably me being paranoid just because of the consistency of it, so you probably wont need to do this but I just tend to.

My next step is the Hair Mask, this is the item I am totally in LOVE with. Ever since using this I have found that my hair has looked and felt a lot more healthy and shiny. I use this right after my shampoo, I leave it in for a little bit longer then it says probably about 15 min but it is totally worth it. No matter what this is going to be my go to mask if my hair needs it.

So next is the conditioner and this is very similar to the shampoo with the consistency, it can be a bit runny. After using my mask I wont go over the top with this I will just use a small amount but a little goes a very long way and even tho I have very long and thick hair, it still covers it.

The last product I use is just before I blow dry and straighten my hair. This is the Hair Treatment. I towel drying I put two pumps of this into my hands and run it through my hair. After this I will then go in to styling. This for me works as a protector, but also just like the mask it helps to keep my hair looking healthy.

Since using all of these products a lot more of the girls at work have said how different my hair looks. I am now getting 'Lottie your hair looks lovely' my reply is 'Oh thanks I've only washed it' and we laugh but shhhh its the truth haha!!!

Honestly I really would recommend this because of how much it has improved my hair. What do you guys think? Have you used this before?

See you soon

Current Make Up Favs

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok

This month me and Nat have decided to partner up and do a big blog combo. We have both thought of doing this for a while but after much deliberation we decided this month is the month.

Each week we will be focusing on a different topic and over the month that will include hair, make up and skin care. So for all of you lovelies who want to know what my skin care routine is or what i do with my hair, watch this space.

This week we will let you know what out make up favs of the moment are, so grab a cuppa sit back and relax and let me show you all a few of my favs.

My first is a brand new foundation I have been trying out by Rimmel, it is the Lasting Finish Foundation. It claims to stay on for 25 hours but I haven't ever wanted to test that. It is a full coverage foundation which I love because every other one I have tried no matter if I use a primer or a spray always seems to have gone by the time I finish work.

At first I found it very heavy and a bit hard to put on, but I learnt that using my buffer brush by real Techniques really works it into the skin and it gives me a really good coverage. I use True Ivory and it really does match my skin nicely, I sometimes find that some foundations are a little off for the colour but this is really nice. It also smells amazing which I know is really silly to think about but it really does.

The next is my addition palettes from younique, the colours are amazing, so pigmented and bold. I have two now the first one I got is great for a smokey eye and has this amazing silver colour too and the second is all pinky tones which is my favourite hehe but I love both.

I find them so easy to use as all the colours work really well together, so it makes it a lot easier for people who are new to make up to see which colours they can match together. I find then I tend to use palette 3 more then palette 2 just because the pinks are easier to use on a day to day basis, and they are just so easy to use.

One of my HUGE favourites is a lipstick and it is by somewhere you wouldn't really think of for make up and the is New Look. I bought this lipstick last year and I am just in love with it, it is the colour Mink.

It is such a natural looking lipstick and it's staying power is unbelievable. It is so soft going on the lips and the colour is such a close match to my natural lips, I just cant put into words how much I love it. All I can say is go into your local New Look and give it a go even just a swatch for you to see how brilliant it is.

Another of my favourites is a blusher palette by Make up Revolution.

The reason I love this so much is because of how I use it, as you can see there are two browner tones, the second blusher in on the top row is the one I use to contour my face, it is a really nice colour not too over powering. For me when I contour I don't like it to be over the top, I like it to look natural instead of looking at your face and thinking ''oooo I used way too much today'' hehe. The pink colour just underneath is the blusher I use the most in the summer, where as now during the winter I have found I am using more of the darker colour which is the first one on the bottom row. I don't use it too much I only put a small amount on ad it covers a lot of my cheeks, it just has a bit of a warmer tone for the winter.

So there you have it, these are my favourite make up products right now, these are things I tend to wear everyday, and they are my go to items from my make up bag.

What are your favourites? Do you feel the same about my choices?

See you soon

Wear What You Want

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok.

Early this year there was a big post that went out on the internet about what clothing girls have been told that they shouldn't wear, this list included - Skirts, Dresses, Leggings, Flat shoes and Tuxedos.

Firstly I am here to say no one has the right to tell anyone what they can or can not wear (unless it's in the work place and you need to wear something a bit appropriate), I say unless you are paying for my clothes you have no right to tell me what I can and can't wear.

It's time to take that shouldn't and turn it into a should, change that can't into a can and pull out all those fabulous clothes. So I have joined the Simply Be campaign to Wear What You Want.

Do you want to flash those legs with a skirt! Do it. Want to kiss away those winter blues and welcome in the summer then throw on that dress and spring it out. Rock those flat shoes wear as many pairs of leggings as you like and dress it up with a tuxedo at a formal event.

For this post I wanted to show off some of the things that I wear that I ''SHOULDN'T" . Personally I wear leggings everyday, I find them comfy and they go with 95% of the clothes I own (she says sat here wearing a pair of leggings woo up for leggings)

So I want to show you how I rock out in a pair of legging and some flats. Have a fairy moment in my new gorgeous pink dress and feel all girlie in my skirt.

So enjoy my little fashion show :D

So come on girls join me and Simply Be and show everyone you will Wear What You Want.

If you would like to read more about the campaign you can check out Sarah's blog post here.

See you soon

Yours Sale

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok.

Eeekkkk it feels good to be back!!! Sorry ... ok phew ... its all out my system ... Eeekkkkk.... Ok NOW its all out my system haha!

So picture it, family gathered around, its Christmas night, you have eaten a lot and drank a lot, played charades and now everyone is starting to get tired. The tv gets turned on and your watch a comedian, its funny and lovely to spend time with your family but there is that little voice in the back of your head..

                                     "Sales.....  Sales"

No I must ignore it, I am here with my family and we are having fun. Then suddenly your boyfriends sisters breaks out the laptop mentions Boxing days sales and everything goes out the window!!!
Yep this is how I ended up on Your's website at 930pm Christmas night and found two amazing dresses :)

The first was a blue dress with butterflies on with a tie around the waist. Sadly it has since sold out but I have managed to find a picture online.

Isn't it gorgeous.

The second was a fabulous pink dress with white detailing at the top and a chiffon style lower half that totally makes me feel like a fairy every time i wear it hehe.

This is still on the website and you can find it here

I ordered it into my nearest store and waited patiently.

December 30th an email pops into my inbox, finally they had arrived. So new years eve I skip off to the store (where I'm sure the sales lady who always serves me is 1 visit away from knowing my name and postcode off by heart hehe) and find my dresses as gorgeous as there were online.

I tried the butterfly dress on first but it was very baggy, normally I am a size 20 so that is what I ordered. Also being a short bum I new it would be long on me but I didn't mind, but it was baggy at the top around the neck line and under the arms. It made me very sad because they didn't have any 18's but I quickly bagged it up and sent my boyfriend off to find a replacement.

The second dress aka my new fairy dress, was AMAZING. The material sat just right, the chiffon was gorgeous and it didn't hug my figure at all, which I loved.

I was just getting changed when my boyfriend handed me a dress, he got two sizes an 18 and a 20, since the last 20 didn't fit me. I put the 20 on and instantly fell in love.

This is also still on the website and you can get this from here.

It has a black lace detailing around the collar that goes down to just above my cleavage. Then it is a deep red wine colour. It has a zip on the back and a little black clasp that can be very tricky to do up because it is so small, but its perfect. It has a chiffon material again, and comes with an under dress type thing that really confused me at first but then I got the hang of it.

Again I fell in love and that was it, I swopped my beloved butterfly dress and walked out with two amazing new additions to my wardrobe.

Yours still have some brilliant bargain's in their sale so pop over and see what you can get for a brill price.

See you soon guys

Happy New Year

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok.

I'M BACK!!!!

I am so sorry you haven't heard from me for a rather long time, I have been having the busiest time with work. Also personal problems have popped up which means I have been neglecting you and my blog so much, but I am back now and with new ideas on posts.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and you don't have too much of a headache after New Years Eve.

Let me tell you about what's happened over the last few months. Me and Paul finally have the house looking how we want and then the guttering outside the spare room decided to get all clogged and we had a huge leak all down the inside wall, we have to wait till it airs out and drys to do anything.
I had my first trip to Manchester trafford centre and I loved it. Paul has got a car for a few months so we can go on lots of day trips yay!!

My health hasn't really been good, not my physical health but my mental one. I have briefly mentioned this on my blog before but never gone into much detail but I suffer from Depression and anxiety, these last few months its been bad, and I haven't really wanted to do anything. I have tried different things to take my mind off of it but nothing has really helped.

I was first diagnosed with it 5 years ago and before I moved to warrington it was so bad that I was going to a support group. Being here now I took the decision that I wouldn't ask for help or go to the doctors and I am regreting that now. So this year I will go to the doctors and ask for help I will try and stop thinking I can deal with it alone when I don't have to. The hardest part for me is asking. To me it's like admitting I can't do something and I hate thinking that about myself, but I need to take care of myself as well and if that means asking for help then I will.

What else has happened??? Ooo I own my own business. I am now a Younique presenter, I thought to myself "well I love make up so much I may as well sell it" haha.

I have had a lovely Christmas spent up north with Pauls family and then went to Birmingham and had another one with mine so its been a really good few days.

I suppose as well as being a welcome back post this is a wrap up of 2015 too.

What would I like 2016 to bring? I suppose good mental health, organisation, blogging, make up, new friends, old friends, and above all fun (oh god how cheesey do i sound lol).

See you soon.
