'From Maisie' Brushes Review

Like most people I am obsessed with unicorns. I love them, I have pjs with unicorns on, my screen saver is a unicron, I have a unicorn jewellery plate, slippers, t-shirts, bags, teddies (yes I am 29 years old) you name it I probably have it. So when I saw a make up brush in the shape of a unicorn horn I HAD to have it.

The company From Maisie was started by a lovely lady called Emma and her husband James, it truly is a family affair since the brand is named after their daughter, which I think is just adorable. Not only do they sell unicorn shaped make up brushes but they also sell mermaid tail shaped brushed too. So all you mermaid lovers you know where to go (the do also sell normal shaped brushes, in case for some strange reason you didn't like unicorns or mermaids). The company is still a baby, starting in September 2017 but is already very popular and it isn't hard to see why.

I first saw the company on Instagram and fell in love, they are amazing brushes and when I got the chance to get my hands on them I jumped at the chance. I decided to go for the Maisie's Unicorn, they are pink, purple and blue unicorn horn brushes, the bristles are white with a purple tip.

You can see the passion the brand have as soon as the envelope lands on your door step. It is a silver mermaid looking type envelope. Its the type of envelope that you know your getting something fun inside.

The brushes themselves come in a white drawstring 'From Maisie' bag, and then are wrapped individually in plastic. I like that since it shows each brush is really looked after individually rather then having something that is just dumped all together.

In the pack you get 10 brushes, 5 face and 5 eye/lip. The brushes themselves are super soft and you can feel the quality in them, they don't feel cheap. I have had cheap brush and straight away you can tell they will fall apart but the 'From Maisie' brushes really do feel nice and strong.

I started to use the brushes the next day and being truthful a week later I am still reaching for them rather than my normal brushes (including my beauty blender).

I use the angled face brush as a foundation brush, I don't find my foundation streaky and I have found it is speading up my make up in the morning, (which can easily be spent snoozing that alarm). My favourite brush has to be the shading brush, it feels so nice and simple to blend out my eyeshadows. Having a little bit of a hooded eye, blending is important for my eye shape to match.

I have used the brushes on a few palettes and it picks up the product well, I haven't had as much fall out from shadows using these brushes. The unicorn handle makes it easy for me to hold as well. I have a deformed thumb so it is a lot smaller then my other thumb so I do find this a lot easier to hold then other brushes.

So far the only brushes I haven't used have been the lip brush and the flat face brush, just because I don't use lip brushes and not being 100% on my make up brushes I don't no what I would use the flat brush to do.

The blush brush is ultra soft but I must admit I have used it to powder my face with rather then a blush. This is because of the slight point it has, I find it goes under my eye easier.

The care of the brushes is as easy as any other, I clean them in baby shampoo and I store them in my little pot for makeup brushes. I love the added bonus of having the 'From Maisie' bag, I can see that making traveling with them so much more easy. It will also be good to pop in a couple of make up items in the bag as well since it is quite a good size bag.

I really like these brushes and I just hope 'From Maisie' expand and maybe add brushes like highlighter, angel brush for eyebrows maybe. Or maybe even a mini unicorn horn beauty blender (a girl can dream can't she).

If you've been looking at them and your not sure, honestly do it! I'm glad I did.

Essentially Sleek Review

Who doesn't love a good bargain? I know I do. When that bargain is on make up it makes me even happier. So when I saw boots were giving away a gift when you spend over £12 on Sleek make up I was all over it.

I bought the Cleopatra's Kiss Highlighting Palette which I have wanted since I saw Rachel from Rachel Leary use it in one of her videos and it gave her such an amazing glow. I also bought the VIP Lipstick in Dream Decade which is the most amazing pink I love it.

The free gift was the Essentially Sleek collection, which has the VIP lipstick in Show off, Dip It Eyeliner in Black and a mini All Night Long i-Divine Palette.

So confession time, before this purchase I had never used Sleek make up before. So this review will be a totally honest first impression.

I normally have a very bad time with lipsticks, I am a lip licker, I am always licking my lips so I can never find a lipstick that stays on. Sadly the VIP lipstick is no different, I found the colour lasted about 2ish hours without reapplying, but considering I also ate in that time and I didn't bring it out with me to reapply. I think it is very good.

What I love about the lipstick though is that it is very vibrant colour, both the pink and the brown is gorgeous and so pigmented. It is also very creamy which allows it to go on so easily.

The eye shadow palette it MY LOVE!!!! The colours are so nice over all my utter favourite is Manhattan which is the coppery colour (the last colour in the palette). I love copper colours mainly because I love autumn, and since we are just going into that season I can see myself wearing it a lot more.

The palette is small so you will need a smaller brush to use it but I am totally fine with that, but for something so small the colours really do pack a punch with pigment.

Lastly the Eyeliner, honestly I don't like it. At first I thought it is because I am used to using a felt liner, but after wearing it to work I found that the feel is so weird, its like you can feel it dry on your lid, then you can just feel it there all day. On the plus side though it didn't move unlike my felt liner, which during the day will smudge and go under my eye even though I don't touch it. I just don't know if that is enough to try and deal with that feeling. The colour is so nice and it is dark black and so bold, so maybe if you don't get that feeling with this type of liner then this is going to be brill for you. I just need to work on that feeling.

Using the full collection this is the look I  came up with. I am in love with the eye look, this is the Manhattan I said I liked so much. With the lip colour I was worried it would be too dark for me as I am normally used to bright colours, but this is so nice and looks super cute.

Overall I would say this is defiantly a good introduction to Sleek, it shows me that they have good pigmented products and that the lipsticks are gorgeous so I will be buying more of them, I just need to see if they have a felt liner.

What do you all think? What are your favourite Sleek products?

Current Favourite Make up

I love make up, I always have and I always will. I love how I feel when I have it on, the colours and putting it on as well. So picking some of my favourite items was a little hard, I thought since I wear make up everyday for work that instead of going through all the palette's I wear when I'm not at work, I would pick from my day to day make up that I use.

First is a lovely bargain from everyones favourite place Primark, this sweet little palette is there Nudes Collection it is meant to be the dupe of the Urban Decay Naked palette, although I don't know for myself as I don't own it. I love the colours in this, they are so good for everyday and you do get some good pigmentation from them.

The first colour which is the white, is so good for an inner corner highlight, it looks matte in the picture but it isn't. As you can tell my favourite colour is the 'Café Crème' (from the indentation haha) it is so nice I love it. One a daily basis I will use the brown tones because I love that look, it is so nice.

The only downside to this palette is that there isn't a mirror, so I have to go between palette's when I use this, but for £4 the colours are lovely and the packaging is really good too.

Next is my contour, which is the Rimmel London Sculting Palette By Kate, I got this from boots for £6.99 a while ago and ever since I bought it I have loved it. I got introduced to it by Alix from I Covet Thee on YouTube, on her video 'How to do you make up in 5 Minutes'.

It is so simple to use and like in Alix's video, it's super quick. They do two colours so because I am about as pale as Casper the friendly ghost I use the lighter of the two which is 002. I also love the blusher in this, it is a really nice coral colour which matches a lipstick I wear to work a lot so it ties in the look really well.

Again from the pictures you can tell the palette is very well worn. The only problem I find which I think might just be me, is the highlight isn't very pigmented so I do use it but I also put another highlighter underneath, just to get the look I want.

The last favourite item I have at the moment is only about a week old for me, I have never bought anything from Sleek before but the Boots where I live has a very nice selection, so I got the Highlighting Palette in shade Cleopatra's Kiss.

The colours are gorgeous, there are golds and pinks and they are so so cute. You get two cream shades and two powder shades, I have never used cream highlighters before and to be honest they did scare me a little bit but I love them, they are so much easier to use. I find I get a nice pigmentation if I use my fingers to apply it. On a day to day basis I will use a cream on the bottom and put the Rimmel highlighter from the Sculpting Palette on top and it shows up really nicely.

The palette does come with a little brush but I don't like it, it seems really hard and stiff. I don't tend to use brushes that come with make up anyway, like with eye shadow palettes, I never use them I much prefer my own brushes.

So there you have it those are my favourite make up items at the moment. What are your favs? Do you agree with mine?

The Power of Make Up

Hi Guys

Hope you're all ok

I have been having a little break from my blog but I'm back and here to stay.

This post is based on a youtube video I recently watched by Becca Rose. She is one of my favourite youtubers and I am a bit obsessed with her channel. A few weeks ago she filmed a video about the power of make up, she had gotten the idea from another youtuber (Nikki Tutorials). (To watch their videos please click the links below)

                                                                         Nikki Tutorial

The video is all about how women are seen by some men as being fake when they wear make up. There has been a number of memes and pictures flying around social media like this :

Which is aimed at other men, telling them to take girls out on a first date to a swimming baths so they can see their true faces.

There has even been a story in the media (although I am not sure how reliable it is) that a man was sueing his wife for mental damages after seeing her with no make up on the day after they got married

I don't wear make up everyday, sometimes if I am in a rush I wont wear it, or sometimes when I am too tired or just cant be bothered to put it on I wont, so for me make up is not something I use to cover myself up. I did not use make up to make my boyfriend fall in love with me, I do not use it as a mask. I wear make up (and this may seem crazy) BECAUSE I LIKE IT.

I would also like to believe that some men out there are not stupid enough to think that my eye lids are natually glittery or that my lips can change colour.

So with Becca and Nikki inspiring me I thought oooo I want to do that, one because I want to send the message that girls wear make up because we want to and not to trick men and two because it will be fun haha.

So this is my 'The Power of Make up' in pictures.

                                      (This side of my face)

So this is my total fresh skin, all I have on is my moisturiser which is No7 Early Defence Day Cream from
Boots, my primer, which is Make Up Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer from Superdrug and my eye primer which is a sample of Benefits Air Patrol you can pick it up from Boots.

I then use No7 Stay Perfect foundation in the colour Cool Vanilla, from Boots. I apply it with my Lottie London Foundation Brush, from Superdrug.

Next is my concealer, which is my holy grail of concealers, its the Collection concealer in the shade fair. I always tend to find that it sells out really quickly so I buy it in bulk so I never run out, I get it from Superdrug. I used my beauty blender from primark to apply it, first I spray it with my MUA fixing spray and then dab it on to my face.

(Yay no more dark undereye) I then use my Rimmel Stay matte powder, which I apply with my Lottie London fluffy brush, I find that No7 leaves my skin shiney and I need this to just finish off my look into a more matte consistency and also stop it looking all shiney. It also keeps my make up in place.

BROWS BROWS BROWS!!!!!! I use Barry M'S Brow Kit Shape and Define from Superdrug, I find that in the kit all I use is the powder, one because its quick and two because honestly I don't really know what to do with the wax thingy haha. Sadly I am running low on this so I will be looking for an alternative soon.

On  my eye lid I use the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette from Superdrug (oh god cant you tell I shop there a LOT) I apply it with Lottie brushes.

For Eyeliner I use the Collection Extreme Felt Liner from Superdrug. I find this so easy to use because the tip is so fine and just so easy to draw with. I also use the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara, I got this in a set at Christmas but I am pretty sure you can still get it in Boots.

On to my favourite, BLUSH, which is Collection in the shade Trouble, the reason I like blush so much is cause sometimes when I really want to put make up on but I am in a rush I put on my stay matte and a bit of blush and it makes me feel all glowy.

FINALLY I use Collections Lip Butter in Vintage Rose, I have had this for a while and always break it out in summer because of how nice the shade is.

And there you have it, my finished half and half Power of make up, showing you what the power of make up is. To me it covers up my dark circles, it gives me colour in the places I like and because it makes me happy.

What do you guys think? Anyone want to do this?? How about showing me your half and halfs on instagram, use the hashtag thepowerofmakeupchallenge

Boots No7 Moisturiser

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok

It has been AGES since I have done a product review and so I thought ooo I have been using my No 7 day cream for a while so I would let all you guys in on what its been doing for me.

So here we go ...

For all of you who have followed my blog from the beginning you know I am a bit of a brand follower. I will find a brand and if I love it I will buy everything, but and here is the shocker, I am a trying to get out of this routine.

The moisturiser I have always used has been my Nivea Daily essentials day cream for normal/combination skin. It really had been part of my routine since finding the brand when I was 18, oh gosh nearly 10 years.

I decided I needed a change when the skin on my t zone started to become very flaky even after moisturising. So when I went into boots one day to top up on my foundation I found a new one.

I spoke to the girl at the No 7 counter in Boots and told her about the problem I had been having, I originally thought it had been the change of foundation from L'oreal to No 7, but she asked about my skin routine and when I told her what I did she said maybe change my moisturiser and see how my skin went and to tell you the truth I am so glad I did.

The one she recommended is the No 7 Early Defence Day Cream, as well as moisturising the skin it also has SPF 15 and helps to protect against UV as well as help the skin look younger for longer. At first I thought ok she is trying to get a sale out of me, but I thought what can I loose, if it doesn't work I can change it and go for something else.

If you want to check this out you can see it here for no 7 products.

The first couple of days I couldn't really see a difference but after the first week my skin was no longer flaking. I also find it is easy to pop on when I have those days when I don't really want to wear make up.

It feels very nice on the skin and even though the pot is small it has lasted for AGES, I bought it in the beginning of November and it has only just got a quarter of the way through.

For me this is my little miracle cream because of how nice my skin feels and I do love it.

What do you guys think? Have you tried this? Do you recommend any other No 7 products?

I will keep you all updated with how my skin carries on.

See you soon

Current Skin Care Routine

Hi Guys

Hope your all ok

Here we are 3rd week into mine and Nat's combo posts and I cant believe we only have 1 more left after this, I have come to love our combo. Gonna miss it.

This week is all about skin care, what we use and how it helps us.

As anyone who has read my blog for a while knows I am a very big brander, as in when I find something I love I will follow that brand to the ends of the earth, but this year I am trying to break with tradition and venture out to a bold new world of brand new products.

This blog is a perfect example of how my skin care has slightly changed over the last year. I think I did a blog similar to this a few months back and that was all based on Nivea. Although there is a couple of Nivea products in here, this blog will show how much I am branching out and using others too :D
The first thing I would like to talk about is my make up remover, and surprise surprise its Nivea hehe, it is the Nivea Double Effect eye make up remover and I hand on my heart will buy this forever.

I had seen this in superdrug and I thought, well I need something good to take my eye make up off because I am waking up with panda eyes everyday. I do not regret that decision since it is totally amazing and I give it a HUGE 10/10. I put it on cotton wool, hold it on my eyes for a few seconds,  wipe away and poof its all gone. Trust me try it :)

To get my main make up off I use my Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4 in 1 Deep Cleansing Milk It smells so good, like peaches with a hint of mint hehe.

I use 2 pumps in my hand and just use it like a soap and it takes all of my make up off. I haven't used this before but Paul got it for me for Christmas in my soap and glory set. I know it will last a while but since it is such a simple way to get my make up off then I will be getting this again.

Next is my exfoliator, which I use twice a week or when ever my skin feels like it needs a little extra, I use the Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub (yep another Nivea) I have used this since I was 19 and I don't think I will ever change it.

After taking my make up off, I wet my face, and rub in the exfoliator, I tend to concentrate around my T zone and chin, because that is where  I get a lot of break outs. Sometimes if I feel my skin is a little cloggy then I will leave it on my face a little longer just to make it feel fresher. Then I wash it straight off.

And there you have it that is what I use on my skin. I find for my skin type, which is combination, it works and works well, so I will continue to use this.

I do use a moisturiser but I love it so much that I have made a whole blog post just about it which will be coming soon.

Current Hair Favourite

Hi Guys

Hope your ok.

So here we are in our second week of mine and Nat's combo post, this week is all about our crowning glory, Our Hair.

I have always had problems with my hair because some shampoos I have used have irritated my scalp. I have found that some will make me really itch, so it has taken a while for me to find the right product.

Lately I have been using Argan Oil on my hair, I am using the shampoo, conditioner, mask and treatment so I am going to be showing you how I use it and how it has helped my hair.

So firstly the Shampoo.

I have wanted to try this range for a while because I have heard so much about it, I bought all of these items in Home bargain's where they were about £1.50 each, which I think I defiantly affordable. This shampoo is a lot different to any I have used before, it is more runny and it takes a bit longer to develop in your hair. With this what I am finding I do is apply it to wet hair then leave it in for a while, rinse off and then I do it again, I think the reason I do it again is just because I don't feel like it has done the job properly, it is probably me being paranoid just because of the consistency of it, so you probably wont need to do this but I just tend to.

My next step is the Hair Mask, this is the item I am totally in LOVE with. Ever since using this I have found that my hair has looked and felt a lot more healthy and shiny. I use this right after my shampoo, I leave it in for a little bit longer then it says probably about 15 min but it is totally worth it. No matter what this is going to be my go to mask if my hair needs it.

So next is the conditioner and this is very similar to the shampoo with the consistency, it can be a bit runny. After using my mask I wont go over the top with this I will just use a small amount but a little goes a very long way and even tho I have very long and thick hair, it still covers it.

The last product I use is just before I blow dry and straighten my hair. This is the Hair Treatment. I towel drying I put two pumps of this into my hands and run it through my hair. After this I will then go in to styling. This for me works as a protector, but also just like the mask it helps to keep my hair looking healthy.

Since using all of these products a lot more of the girls at work have said how different my hair looks. I am now getting 'Lottie your hair looks lovely' my reply is 'Oh thanks I've only washed it' and we laugh but shhhh its the truth haha!!!

Honestly I really would recommend this because of how much it has improved my hair. What do you guys think? Have you used this before?

MUA Haul

Hi Guys
I hope you have all had an amazing time whether you are celebrating or not I hope you have enjoyed yourself. I'm sorry I haven't been putting up blogs. I'm not gonna lie I spent a lot of time eating drinking and being with my family, but now I'm back and I have a huge plan for next year so keep watching this

I am kicking it off with a make up haul. This was ordered the Saturday before Christmas and I was very surprised that I was able to get it Christmas eve. I ordered it from Superdrug and at the moment they are running an offer, if your order from MUA is over £8 you can get a free eyeshadow MUA Pro Palette called 12th Night. So I took total advantage of this, unfortunately when I received my order the pallet had not been included so I am going to email them and see if I can have it. Also a blusher I ordered had been smashed, which is why both of these products are not included in this haul, apart from that everything else I have LOVED so here goes and I hope you enjoy.

I was so excited when I started using all these items and I used three of these products on Christmas day, just because I couldn't wait to use them. The first thing I am going to talk about is ...

The MUA Extreme Curl Mascara, a big thing about myself is that I am not a fan of fake eyelashes, I find them hard to put on and the last time someone put them on for me, I ended up getting glue in my eye and it totally put me off, I might try them again but just not at the moment.
So I am always on the look out for mascara which will help me look like I have big long curly lashes. The thing I love about this is the curve in the brush it reminds me of the Rimmel mascara I already have. The best thing is it separates the lashes as you use it. I use my eye lash curler first, then I work this through my lashes from the root to tip wiggling the brush, this helps to move the lashes so they don't stick together. By the time I am finished my lashes look curly and long. For my bottom lashes I do the same thing but I turn the brush the other way, this gives both top and bottom lashes a curl outwards, which is the look that I love. You can get this mascara here.

Next is this amazing Merged Trio Eyeshadow in the colour Emotions. I had tried the MUA palettes before but never the trios, I had heard a lot of good things and so decided to try it and I am so glad I did. The colours are beautiful, it gives girls who are new to make up an amazing opportunity to create looks that they wouldn't know how to. This is because on the back of the pack it shows you where to put the different colours to create a smokey look, this is one of the pieces I wore on Christmas Day, I found it lasted all day and it didn't smudge or run. I will defiantly be getting more of these as they come in different colours. You can get this trio from here.

This is the MUA Luxe Voluminous Felt Eyeliner and I can honestly say hand on my heart I have never found an easier eyeliner to work with, it goes on so smooth and as you can see you can either have a nice thin line or a thicker line depending on your preference. Personally I love winged eyeliner and I have found it so simple to create my wings with this product. Recently I have been using a gel liner and I finding it harder to use, maybe it is me and I need to practice a bit more but this is amazing and I can not recommend it enough. If I have got you in the mood to buy it check it out here.

All the rest of my items are for my lips so I'll start with this which is the MUA Intense Kisses High intensity gloss in the colour Quick Kiss. I am not really into glosses on my lips I find they come off quickly and I need to keep applying them. I love the colour of this it is so nice and so glossy, so they are right about the high intensity gloss. The only thing I found was it could be sticky on my lips, which I really don't like. So I am a bit 50/50 about it, loving the colour just not the stickiness, you can check it out and the other colours here.

Ok so this is my number 2 favourite from this order, I love it so much, I cant get enough of it. This is MUA lipstick in shade 14 the colour is called Bare. I have been looking for a shade like this for AGES!!!! When I saw it I couldn't click it quick enough, and when it arrived I was not let down, its so nice and creme and soft, it goes on the lips really nicely. The shade is so pretty. I use this for when I want my eyes to have the focus, because it does blend my lips in. The other benefit of this lipstick is the additional little pot it has at the bottom which screws off, not only is this good for you when you store it so you can see the different colours, but also if you are running low, you can use this with a lip brush which I think is so good. I wore this Christmas day and a lot more since and it stays on for a while. I found that when I was drinking it wasn't coming off my lips which makes me love it even more, I will be buying this again and in more colours. If you want to try it you can get it here.

This is the first of the two matte lipsticks I bought, this is MUA Matte in the colour Peachy Keen. I have never really tried matte lipstick, I was worried it would make my lips look dry, but this is a really nice colour, its quite natural, it does take a while to go on and isn't really smooth, but the colour is so pretty. Again it has the little pot on the end too which as I said before has its benefits, but personally I dont think matte is right for me. If you like mattes tho have a look at the MUA range the colours are so nice.

This is the other matte lipstick I got and this is in the colour Scarlet Siren. This is probably the one product I am unsure of, I loved the colour on the website because it looks like such a deep red, but when I got it, it was more of a deep pink colour. I do like it because I don't have that type of colour but it just wasn't what I expected, but like I said before I don't think matte is for me.

Well I hope this little haul has helped and I really think you should check out the MUA website, because they really are an amazing make up brand, and so affordable.

Hope you all have a nice day.

See you soon

Skin Routine

Hi Guys

I hope you’re all ok and having an amazing time in the run up to Christmas.

I thought since it is winter, I would do a blog about skin care; since winter can be a hard time for your skin and you need to look after it a little more.

So firstly, I want to say I am a bit of a Nivea fan, well, when I say a bit I actually mean I am a HUGE Nivea fan. I love their ‘Daily Essentials’ range it has helped my skin so much.

Anyway, when I was a teenager, my skin was horrible; as most teenagers’ are, I had: spots, redness, one day I had oily skin, the next it was dry and flaky, it just seemed to never make up its mind.

I tried lots of things to help my skin and nothing really worked, but growing up and now being in my twenties I tend to find things that try and work for me and personally, Nivea has never failed to be totally amazing for my skin.

I first used Nivea because of the smell, it was such a nice smell and I just thought this is going to make my skin smell so nice (yes I know you should never judge a product by its smell, but have you smelt Nivea? It’s amazing).

I started out by just using a cleanser but I have since found that using all of the Nivea range has helped my skin a lot more. So here goes… :D

So the first product I use is the ‘Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub’, I use this every second day to help my skin, it takes off any dead skin and leaves my skin feeling really clean, which I know sounds silly but it really does feel clean. The only thing I would say is that because it does make you skin feel so clean, it can make it do that squeaky clean feeling, in my opinion I don't like my skin to feel like that, so using a good cleanser afterwards is the best thing to do.

Speaking of cleansers, that leads me onto mine; that is the ‘Daily Essentials 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner’, this, I use twice a day; it makes my skin feel so nice and smooth. It is easy to apply and one of the things I love is that you can use either water or cotton wool to take this off which means if you like camping or if you are traveling it is so easy to use and there is no excuse not to use it hehe. The other thing is because it is ‘2 in 1’ you don't need to worry about picking up a separate toner.

Always, always follow up cleansing and toning with a moisturiser, and I use the ‘Daily Essentials Day Cream’ for the day and the ‘Rich Regenerating Night Cream’ for the night time, these are so nice they smell amazing and they are incredible for my skin they leave it feeling nice and clean and so soft.

The ‘Daily Essentials’ Range has different products for different skin types, so I use Normal & Combination skin types. Have a look at the type of skin you have a check out Nivea for the range or any products that you want to try out.

The other things I just want to add are that Nivea do not test on animals, which is very important to me, they also use Vitamin E which helps your skin to repair itself and also it’s great for protection. The other thing you may notice on the packaging is that they talk about Hydra IQ this helps to keep your skin hydrated; this is really good for your skin.

The other items I use from Nivea are the ‘Invisible for Black and White’, I love this, it really does help with the white marks, I tend to wear a lot of black tops and I don't find any white patches on them. The other one I use is the ‘Double Effect’ which again smells amazing (yes I do think I have an obsession with nice smelling things lol). Finally, I also use the ‘Daily Essentials Facial Cleansing Wipes’, I use these when I come home and take my make up off, I tend to come up, PJs on hair up and make up off, and this is amazing for it.

There you have it, that is my Daily Skin Care Routine and it really does have a good effect on my skin, it is so nice and smooth and I find that I hardly get any break outs so a very big thank you to Nivea for making my skin amazing. I hope this has helped if you have any break outs maybe you can go try it and let me know what you think.

See you soon

Primark Haul

Hi Everyone

Well today I have been a bit of a busy bee, I got up early (mainly because of this weather) and went into town, and raided Primark. So I thought I would show all you lovely people what I bought.

The Primark I went into is the one on New Street in Birmingham City Center.

Ok so the main reason I went in was to get a couple more tops for work but then I was distracted by the make up haha, so here are a few things I bought :

So the first thing I saw was this brow pencil (top picture), I have never really been a brow kind of girl, I only ever pluck I never fill in or anything, but I have been looking into it and I think its time my eyebrows got the same love any attention the rest of my face gets haha. It was £1.50 and I have it in the Light colour.

So as well as my Paris obsession I have a little thing for nail  varnishes (bottom left). I am very much into my pastel colour's at the moment and I am wearing a pastel purple currently, but I saw this hot pink and fell in love with it. It isn't actually called Hot Pink it doesn't have a name but I loved it and had to have it and for £1.00 it was a bargain, I will post pics of me when I put it on and how you how it is when it is on.

The third make up item I bought is a Lip crayon (bottom right), I have previously used Primarks lip stain and I loved it, so when I saw these I thought ooo give these a go, I got it home and tried it and it is so good, it goes one like an actual crayon, it is a nude colour with glitter in it and it surprisingly lasts a while, it doesn't make your lips feel sticky, and I don't know about other people but I sometimes find lip glosses can feel a little heavy (if that makes sense) and this one feels soc light I love it, it comes in different colours but I was looking for something very nude. It is £1.50

Make-up Brushes

Ok so first things first I want to say that I am I not trained in beauty I only use what I like and works for me, sometimes I use things differently but what I do works for me.

So first thing I bought was a powder foundation brush, I already have my liquid brush I just needed a new powder one, I love this because of the pink at the top, yes silly reason to love it but oh well. Once I got it home and opened it I realised how soft it is and is so nice and this was £1.50.

The next brush I picked up was this eye shadow concealer combi brush, the concealer I use is L'oreal and so it has a brush but I needed a new eye shadow brush to use on the crease of my eye to help blend so I loved this when I saw it, this brush is only £1.

So as well as going to Primark I also went to poundland yesterday (oh yes I'm a big spender haha). I saw this angled brush and I have always wanted one so I got this too.

Other Stuff ...

I love jewelry I really do and because of me finger size I can never find rings that fit me but these are a god send I love them and I love the colour very girlie and cute, the are £2 for 6, the four rings in the middle I am using as thumb rings, but the two either side I am gonna use on my middle finger. I love these so much and cant stop wearing them. The thing I love the most is I wore these most of the day and I haven't got that nasty green line where I have been wearing them so these are my good buy.

These I am in love with, I have always wanted fairy lights in my room, I love them and so I saw these and I love them, they look like little chandeliers, they are so cute and sweet, they are battery operated so if you want these make sure you have a lot of AA batteries at home or you pick some up. They are £3 and are currently over my bed and wrapped around my canvas picture. and are so sweet.

I saw these right at the end of my shop and I had to have them, I am a huge fan of slippers, I did have some Tinker Bell slippers but they have fallen apart and I think these are just so cute, they have a knitted effect on the outside and are so fluffy and soft on the inside, and you cant see but underneath they have 'Love to Lounge'' written on them, and these were £3.

The last thing I bought was also from poundland, there are 3 vacuum storage bags and a storage box for them. I have a lot of stuff in my room that I like and I want to keep but no room for them, like extra blankets for winter or my unused bedding, and these are amazing for them, the large on is very large, i didn't realise how big it was, but i did need all three and they are now all tucked away vacuumed to within an inch of there lives haha.
