How can we love ourselve a little bit more?

Hi guys.

I hope your all ok.

I originally started this blog as something for me to do, to put out in the world things I like, such as make up, books, facial products things that work for me personally and might help others. Then when I had my cervical smear I decided that this blog can be used to help more people. That is what I would love to do, help me people.

Don't get me wrong I love doing my make up and review blogs and I am in the process of getting a better camera so I can do more YouTube videos, but I love to know my blog is out there helping people who are in need of it.

The other day I was talking to a friend and the subject of confidence came up.

Confidence can mean so much, you can have confidence in your work, knowing that you know your job and what needs to be done, confidence in skills you have like driving or make up and hair styles, but what makes it so different that we can have total confidence in our work and yet we look in the mirror and it all goes out the window because what we see makes us cry, hate ourselves or not want to look.

As I have said before, I starting to like what I was looking at in the mirror by telling myself positive things about my looks that I like. I think I have a very cute nose and I love my eye colour. So I would focus on the positive and not so much on the negative.

I know that this will not always work for some people, but it worked for me, everyone is different but I'm sure that there is even one tiny thing that you like about yourself. It doesn't have to be a physical attribute, it can be that you love the way you cook, or your a really good artist, it could even be that you amazing at singing into your hair brush when no one is watching, but what ever it is it is a part of you.

You are an amazing human being, there will be a part of you that no matter what you do will always think of a negative, but what we all need to do is try and turn it into a positive, why should that tiny bit of our brains have control over all of us.

We are amazing. We are talented. We are beautiful. We are human. We are all unique.

If the world was full of cookie cut human beings it would be the most boring place ever, personally I am glad that I am the size I am, I am short I am fat and when I want to I have a very big mouth hehe. That is who I am and I love it.

So embrace who you are and when you find that one piece that you love and are confident about hang onto it so hard, because it will be the thing that brings you out of those bad times.

Remember guys you may not be somebody's cup of tea but to one person out there you are a glass of champagne!!!!!!

See you soon
Love Lottie Xxxx

  1. Such a lovely, well written post! People often think I'm really confident but I'm not, I think that some people just have an air of confidence about them. xxx
